Concepts
When thinking of a design I gravitated towards established slogans I could play on. I ended up going with "Live, Laugh, Pizza" and based my design around "Live, Laugh, Love" signs I had seen at decor and furniture stores, but with a pizza twist. I wanted to keep the colors simple and Italian centric so I stuck to reds, greens, and whites.
Finals
After feedback from DFTBA, I decided to give John a more active pose and adjust the slogan to include his name. We kept elements of the border to keep a touch of the "Live, Love, Laugh" signs. The color palette carried over from the previous round of concepts.
