2022 Lammy Awards Poster
I had the honor of designing one of the posters for the 2022 Lambda Literary Awards. These posters were meant to represent LGBT+ culture from the artist’s state. My poster highlights LGBT+ people from Ohio. I also included state symbols such as buckeyes, scarlet carnations, cardinals, and corn. The posters are 18x24" and were sold through the Lambda Literary site.
Some of the people included in the poster are Jim Obergefell, whose Supreme Court case legalized same sex marriage in the USA, Marcia Riley who opened Slammers Bar, Ohio’s only lesbian bar, Columbus City Council President Shannon Hardin, and drag queen and activist Nina West.
